About Graham Engineering
Graham Engineering Corporation was founded in 1960 in York, Pennsylvania and is one of the leading American manufacturers of blow molding and extrusion equipment. Graham operates three main brands: Graham Engineering for blow molding (continuous extrusion shuttle, wheel-type rotary, and accumulator-head machines), American Kuhne for custom single-screw extruders for medical tubing, profile, sheet, and specialty applications, and Welex for sheet extrusion lines used in food packaging, signage, and industrial sheet. Graham''s Revolution Wheel rotary blow molding machines are the U.S. industry standard for high-volume HDPE bottle production, with cavitation up to 24 stations producing dairy, juice, and household chemical bottles at very high throughput. The continuous-extrusion shuttle machines (XBM and XSBM series) cover mid-range bottles and small industrial containers, while the accumulator-head machines handle large industrial drums, fuel tanks, automotive ducting, and large blow-molded parts. American Kuhne single-screw extruders are widely used in medical tubing extrusion, smooth and crosshead profile, sheet, and lab/R&D extrusion. Used Graham Engineering equipment is popular in the secondary market because of rugged American construction, common Allen-Bradley/Siemens controls, and the fact that Graham continues to support legacy machines from York, PA. Common inspection points include extruder screw and barrel wear (American Kuhne), accumulator head and seals, parison programmer, wheel station condition (Revolution Wheel), and PLC and HMI software status.
