About Used Water Jet Cutters
Waterjet cutting machines use an ultra-high-pressure stream of water (pure or mixed with abrasive garnet) to cut virtually any material without heat-affected zones. Abrasive waterjet systems cut metals, stone, glass, ceramics, composites, and rubber at thicknesses up to 12 inches. Pure waterjet systems cut softer materials like foam, rubber, gaskets, and food products.
Key specifications include pump pressure (typically 60,000-90,000 PSI), table size, number of cutting heads, and intensifier or direct drive pump type. Multi-head and 5-axis waterjet systems enable 3D cutting and taper compensation for precision parts.
Meadoworks stocks used waterjet cutting machines from Flow, OMAX, KMT, Jet Edge, Bystronic, and Mitsubishi. Contact us at 800-323-0307 for waterjet pricing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the advantages of waterjet cutting?
Waterjet cutting produces no heat-affected zone (HAZ), meaning no thermal distortion, hardening, or material property changes. It cuts virtually any material including metals, stone, glass, and composites. Waterjet also produces minimal kerf waste, requires no tool changes, and handles thicknesses from thin foil to 12+ inches of steel.
