About Carell
Carell Corporation is a U.S. manufacturer and supplier of metal-forming machinery for plate and profile bending, based in Alabama. The company is best known for its hydraulic plate bending rolls - both 3-roll initial-pinch and double-pinch machines and 4-roll designs - used to roll sheet and plate into cylinders, cones, and large-radius curves for tanks, pressure vessels, ducting, wind-tower sections, and structural steel.
A 4-roll plate roll pre-bends the leading edge and rolls the full sheet without removing and re-feeding it, which cuts handling time and produces a more consistent radius than a 3-roll machine. Carell 4-roll hydraulic plate benders are typically specified by rolling width (from small shop machines up to 20 ft and beyond), plate thickness capacity at full width, top-roll diameter, and CNC or digital control options for cone rolling and repeat parts.
Beyond plate rolls, Carell supplies angle and section rolls for bending angle, channel, flat bar, tube, and pipe into rings and arcs; rotary-draw tube and pipe benders for handrail, structural, and process piping work; and dishing and flanging machines for tank heads.
