About Bühler
Bühler AG was founded in 1860 in Uzwil, Switzerland and has grown into a global supplier of process technologies across die casting, plastics compounding, food processing, and grain milling. Bühler''s die casting division builds the large-tonnage Carat real-time controlled cold-chamber die casting machines (Carat 105 through Carat 350+, 1,050-3,500 ton clamping force) used by automotive Tier 1 suppliers for structural castings, transmission housings, and increasingly for giga-castings of EV body components. The Evolution series covers mid-range cold-chamber die casting from approximately 250 to 1,050 tons. In plastics, Bühler manufactures co-rotating twin-screw compounding extruders (BCTM, BTSK series) for masterbatches, engineering plastics compounding, and reactive extrusion. Bühler also produces wet grinding and dispersion equipment, food and grain milling machinery, optical sorters, and specialty pasta and chocolate processing lines.
