About Biesse
Biesse was founded in 1969 in Pesaro, Italy, and is headquartered there. Biesse America, in Charlotte, North Carolina, sells and services the machines in the United States. The company site is biesse.com.
The woodworking line covers Rover CNC machining centers, Selco beam saws, and Akron and Stream edgebanders, plus nesting software under the bSolid and bNest names. Rover machines are sold as pod-and-rail routers and as flat-table nesting routers.
The Rover K FT is the flat-table nesting version. The model number encodes the table: an FT 1531 has a worktable about 3100 mm by 1560 mm, roughly 5 by 10 feet. Typical equipment is an HSK electrospindle, a boring head, a rack tool changer, and a multizone vacuum table with a separate vacuum pump.
