About Tormach
Tormach was founded in 2001 by Greg Jackson and Ed Korn in Madison, Wisconsin, after the two manufacturing automation professionals identified a gap in the market for affordable, capable CNC machines suited to small shops, inventors, and educators. Their first product, the PCNC 1100 vertical milling machine, launched in 2003 and quickly established the brand's reputation for accessible CNC technology. The core of Tormach's lineup is its family of CNC vertical mills, spanning the compact PCNC 440 up through the 770M, 770MX, 1100M, 1100MX, and the servo-driven 1500MX with its epoxy granite frame.
