About Used Plastic Resin Dryers
Plastic resin dryers (also called resin dryers, plastic material dryers, or polymer dryers) remove moisture from hygroscopic plastic resins before processing. Proper drying is critical for part quality — moisture in resins like nylon, PET, polycarbonate, and ABS causes splay, bubbles, and reduced mechanical properties. Desiccant dryers for plastic resin use a desiccant bed to produce extremely dry air (-40°F dew point) for thorough moisture removal.
