About Comac
Comac (comac-italy.com) designs profile bending machines at Strada Chieri 66, Villanova d'Asti, Italy. This is the Italian angle-roll builder, not the unrelated floor-cleaning brand that shares the name. The company has built section benders for decades and sells them for tube, angle, flat bar, and structural shapes.
The Serie 3000 is a double-pinch line: three driven rolls, the two lower rolls adjusted independently so both ends of a symmetrical profile can be pre-bent, three-axis lateral guide rolls, and modular alloy rolls hardened to about 60 HRC. Machines can be set with the shafts vertical or horizontal. Published models run from the small 301 through the 304, 305, 307, 308, and 310.
The Model 304 is the mid-small machine in that line. Comac's catalog rates it at a 10 cm3 section modulus, 60 mm shafts, 205 mm rolls, a 3.5 kW drive, and 5.2 m/min rolling speed. The HV execution adds hydraulic positioning of the bending rolls and a digital position display on a free-standing pedestal, which is the version most sheet-metal shops mean when they say 304HV.
On a used 304, confirm whether the lower rolls are hydraulic or manual, that both digital displays work, and that the modular roll set and lateral guides are still with the machine. A full extra die set is often sold separately. Voltage is not in the catalog table, so it has to come from the data plate.
Meadoworks lists used Comac angle rolls for HVAC curb work, miscellaneous metals, and small structural shops. The 304 class is light enough to move on a pallet and common enough that standard rolls and commercial components are still available from the factory.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Comac 304?
A Serie 3000 double-pinch profile bender. Comac rates the Model 304 at a 10 cm3 section modulus, 60 mm shafts, 205 mm rolls, and a 3.5 kW motor.
What does 304HV mean?
HV is the hydraulic version: the lower bending rolls position hydraulically and the pedestal carries a digital readout for roll position. The base badge often still reads Model 304.
How is a double-pinch angle roll different from a pyramid roll?
On a double-pinch machine the top roll stays fixed and the two lower rolls move independently, so both ends of a symmetrical profile can be pre-bent without flipping the part.
Does a used 304 include tooling?
Standard modular rolls for common flats, angles, and rounds are part of the machine. Special dies for a particular tube or architectural shape are often extra and should be confirmed in the photos.
Where is Comac based?
