About Sandretto
Sandretto was an Italian manufacturer of plastic injection molding machines headquartered in Pont Canavese near Turin. Founded in 1946 by brothers Dino and Modesto Sandretto, the company grew into one of the leading global suppliers of injection presses for the plastics industry. Its product range covered hydraulic and toggle-clamp injection molding machines with clamping forces from roughly 75 to 5,000 kN for technical parts, packaging and general-purpose applications. Sandretto produced numerous series and models, including S7 and S8 machines, Nove and Modula presses, Micro and Mega T units, and Euromap-configured injection molding machines across a wide tonnage spectrum. These machines are used for molding polypropylene and other thermoplastics into components for diverse industrial and packaging applications. The brand built a long-standing reputation for innovative injection molding technology and became a historic name in plastics machinery before its manufacturing operations ceased following bankruptcy in 2017.
