About AKS
AKS Cutting Systems is a United States builder of CNC plate-cutting machines. The company describes itself as a fourth-generation manufacturer with more than a century of machine building, and the current product site is akscutting.com.
The plasma line is led by the Accu-Kut, a unitized downdraft table offered in multiple sizes, including the 8 by 24 foot cutting area seen on used machines. Tru-Kut and Dura-Kut are the other plasma tables. AKS also builds waterjet cutters. Downdraft tables use multi-zone fume extraction; a dust collector is often a separate unit.

That is the cutting area the seller stated, not the overall floor footprint. The machine needs more floor space than the cutting size, plus room for the power supply and ducting.
Is the dust collector included?
Downdraft tables need extraction, but the collector is often a separate unit. If it is not listed, assume it stays with the shop.
Are parts still available?
AKS still builds Accu-Kut tables, and Hypertherm supports the XPR and HPR power supplies these machines commonly use. The control model should be confirmed from a photo of the screen or nameplate.
