William Sellers & Co. was a Philadelphia machine tool maker and one of the best-known American builders of the industrial era.
The firm made machine tools for turning, planing, shaping, drilling, boring and cutting metal, and its drill grinders became a tool-room standard for sharpening twist drills to a consistent point geometry.
Sellers drill grinders were built in several sizes to cover different drill diameter ranges, and many are still in daily use in tool rooms and maintenance shops.
