Used Electrical Transformers for Sale

Electrical transformers step utility voltage down to plant distribution levels — typically 480V three-phase for machinery and 120/208V for controls and lighting. Used transformers are available as dry-type (indoor electrical rooms, the most common in manufacturing), pad-mount (outdoor, oil-filled), and isolation/control transformers for sensitive equipment. Key specifications are kVA rating, primary/secondary voltages, phase configuration, and temperature rise class.

Used dry-type transformers offer excellent value — they have no moving parts, long service lives, and units from plant closures are often lightly loaded relative to rating. Verify insulation test results, check for overheating discoloration, and confirm taps and terminations match your installation.
