About Frigadon
Frigadon AB is a Swedish manufacturer of industrial chillers and temperature-control units, based in Halmstad, Sweden.
Its machines are widely paired with filtration systems on precision grinding lines, especially carbide tool grinding, where the grinding oil must be held at a steady temperature to keep the machine thermally stable and the ground tools within tolerance.
The range covers air- and water-cooled chillers sized for single machines up to central systems serving several grinders.
When buying used, check the refrigerant type, compressor hours, the condition of the condenser and fan, the pump and the controller, and the electrical rating against your shop supply.
Meadoworks lists used Frigadon chillers alongside the grinders and filtration systems they serve, so a buyer can source a complete cooling and filtration setup from one place.
