Krupp was a German industrial group that included specialized plastics machinery businesses producing blow molding and PET stretch blow molding equipment. Through its Krupp Corpoplast and Krupp Kautex operations, the company manufactured PET reheat stretch blow molding systems such as the Blomax and Blowmax series, as well as extrusion and accumulator-head blow molding machines including KB and CP models for large containers and drums. These machines are used to produce PET beverage bottles from preforms and to blow-mold packaging for edible oils, detergents, cosmetics, household chemicals and industrial liquids, along with heavy-duty drums and other large containers. Blomax and Blowmax systems are widely installed on medium- and high-output bottling lines, with capacities reaching tens of thousands of bottles per hour, while Krupp Kautex accumulator-head machines serve demanding industrial packaging applications. The Corpoplast PET blow molding business subsequently became part of KHS, which continues to provide spare parts and service for legacy Krupp Corpoplast equipment, and many Krupp-branded blow molding machines remain in operation worldwide.
