About Sipa
Sipa was founded in 1980 in Vittorio Veneto, Italy, as an engineering company focused on integrated flexible automation systems. In 1986 the company made a strategic pivot into PET packaging, acquiring a U.S. license to produce bottles using a single-stage process, and PET container technology became the core of the business from that point forward. Today Sipa operates as part of the Zoppas Industries Group, with four manufacturing facilities across Italy, Romania, and China, plus more than twenty sales branches and service centers worldwide.
The flagship product lines for two-step reheat and stretch blow molding are the SFL and SFR series. The SFL is a linear stretch blow molding platform engineered for maximum format flexibility, capable of producing standard, heat-set, refillable, oval, wide-mouth, and large-size containers up to 30 liters, with configurations ranging from one to eight blowing cavities. The SFR is Sipa's rotary reheat stretch blow molding line, available in multiple cavity counts and designed for high-speed continuous production. For single-stage injection-stretch-blow molding, Sipa offers the ECS SP and ECS FX series, which integrate preform injection and bottle blowing in one machine. The XTRA rotary blowing system rounds out the range for the highest-output applications.
Sipa's machines serve producers across the beverage, food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Primary end markets include still and sparkling water, carbonated soft drinks, juices, dairy products, edible oils, personal care, detergents, and pharmaceutical containers. The company's ability to supply both one-step and two-step solutions, along with in-house blow molds and preform tooling, makes it a full-system partner for bottling operations of virtually any scale.
Buyers seeking used Sipa reheat stretch blow molding equipment value the platform's robust Italian build quality, long service life, and the wide availability of spare parts through Sipa's global network of service centers and refurbishment hubs. The SFL and SFR series are known for low total cost of ownership, energy-efficient oven and blowing systems, and straightforward mechanical accessibility that keeps maintenance costs manageable over decades of production. These qualities translate into strong resale demand and competitive pricing on the secondary market.
