The barrel is enclosed in Sterling's hinged heater-zone cabinet and driven through a PIV Drives XD35 helical gear reducer with a 16.1:1 ratio (about 93 rpm output at 1,500 rpm input). The drive motor is not included, so the buyer can fit a motor to suit their own process and power supply. The machine has been idle for some time and is sold as is.
