About Used OBI Presses
OBI (open back inclinable) presses, also called gap frame presses or C-frame presses, are the most common type of mechanical stamping press. The open-back design allows scrap and finished parts to fall freely through the rear of the press, while the inclinable feature lets the press be tilted backward for gravity-assisted part ejection. OBI presses range from small 10-ton bench models to 400-ton production machines.
